At GEZEITEN, we're constantly researching innovative natural actives in collaboration with biotech researchers. Our scientific team of biotechnologists use high-value cultivation technologies to grow plants and algae in conditions identical to their natural environment.
From a single sample of the marine micro-organism or plant, we create a biobank that can be reused through successive transplantations. In addition, photobioreactors allow us to master the conditions for species of ancestral microalgae or calcareous algae that were previously difficult to cultivate.
Our biotechnological actives are absolutely pure, free of pollutants, pesticides, GMOs and solvents, and are formulated in optimal and controlled concentrations to deliver proven results on the skin.

GEZEITEN's scientific team meticulously searches for rare natural ingredients.
Soilless methods such as hydroponics and aeroponics are used for seed production. These plants are then propagated and grown on a large scale in greenhouses.
On the Atlantic coast, in a private and protected concession, seaweed is cultivated in the open sea using submerged systems to ensure the survival of the species. This manual cultivation method guarantees exceptional raw materials.
Our partners are at the forefront of innovative farming programs, pioneering sustainable practices. At sea, algae grow on underwater cable systems, while plants thrive in bioclimatic shelters. Rarity and uniqueness drive our sourcing approach.
Our team adheres to virtuous sourcing practices, studying each raw material for 1-2 years. All active ingredients used by GEZEITEN are scientifically validated and have proven efficacy.
Harvesting methods are dictated by the plant's life cycle, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Flat boats are used to prevent damage to reefs and algae are cleaned in seawater to reduce water consumption.
We strictly follow guidelines for responsible harvesting practices for each resource and aim to maintain and improve these standards.

REFILLING THE FACE CREAMS IN ‘THE VESSEL’
STEP 1
Slightly open and lift the lid to remove the empty refill.
STEP 2
Insert the new refill by slowly rotating it until it clicks into place. Then press until you hear a slight click.
STEP 3
Screw the cap back on.

You can also take the 50 ML FACE CREAMs without the base when traveling.

The Face Creams 50 ml are presented in the patented packaging design, as a zero waste packaging designed for a second use.
THE REFILL
For reorders, the refills reduce the average packaging weight by 90%, which significantly reduces the carbon footprint. To further reduce plastic waste, the refills are sealed using a special film sealing process.
JARS AND BOTTLES
The Face Creams 15 ml (travel size), the Serums and Ampoules are made of recyclable glass.
PRODUCT & SHIPPING BOXES
The product and shipping boxes are made from FSC certified paper. GEZEITEN does not use lamination to ensure easy recycling or cellophane to further reduce plastic waste.
